krabi is one of the best destination of Thailand vacations since it is one of the most relaxing province in Thailand with full of fantastic nice beach with white sand, wonderful scenery , a coastline with over 200 islands as well as a jungle-covered interior revealing towering limestone cliffs, caves, waterfalls and exotic wildlife.
I would like to recommend Krabi for the visitor who looking for the place that less crowded than Phuket and just away 80 minute by air from Bangkok. Tourist may know Krabi is the destination for diving for the well known island PHIPHI but what I can tell you is make a short break here and you will perceive Krabi has everything that other destination wisely doesn’t have.
Krabi is situated on the south of Thailand and 814 kilometers from Bangkok. West of Krabi is the Andaman Sea and Phang Nga province. Trang and the Andaman Sea on the South. The border on the north adjoins Phang-nga and Surat Thani.

Due to the influence of the tropical monsoon, there are only two seasons in this province; the hot season from January to April for the best time for vacation and the rainy season from May to December. However rain occurs mainly in the evening hours and mostly the temperatures range between 17 °C and 37 °C

By air

After arriving Krabi airport, you may use taxi or shuttle bus to other destination. To avoid unfair charge, please use public bus service which cost 150 baht per person ( from Krabi Airport to Ao - nang ) or 100 baht per person ( from airport to Krabi town ) Transport Services (TAXI, SHUTTLE BUS ) from airport to downtown or other destination.
By train
There is no train service from Bangkok (Hua lamphong station) to Krabi. If you wish to travel by train, the nearest stations are in Trang (to the southeast) or Surat Thani (to the north) - from here, you will have to catch a bus to Krabi. However, I recommend the best way is Bangkok - Surat Thani ( Punpin station ) and transfer to private bus service company (opposite exit gate ) to Krabi.
