Thale Noi

It is located in Khuan Khanun district and the name of Thale Noi mean “ small sea” and it is one of the biggest lakes in Thailand. The visitors always come to see the beautiful lake with fully cover by the water plants and many species of lotus.  It is a site which contains abundant natural biodiversities. Therefore, it was declared to be a Non-hunting area under the jurisdiction of the Royal Forestry Department. It can be confirmed that Thale Noi has more than 250 wildlife species in this protected area. They are about 25 species of reptiles such as tortoise, lizards and various kings of snakes, shrimp, crab, amphibians and various other aquatic animals; 13 species of mammals such as crab-eating macaque, fish-eating cat etc and about 54 species of freshwater fish are reported found here. As the result , Thale Noi become one of attractive place for visitors who interesting in bird watchers .

Take Highway no 4048 from Phatthalung city via Khuan Khanun District  and toward to Thale Noi about 32 km.

Phraiwan Waterfall
This is a large waterfall with peaceful natural surroundings and wildlife. It is become a attraction place for visitors and local people.

Visit Phraiwan Waterfall
From the town of Phatthalung, take Highway 4 and, at the Kong Ra T-junction, turn right to follow Highway 4122 for around 29 km. There is a direction sign indicating another 3 km before the waterfall.

Khao Ok Thalu
 
Khao Ok Thalu is another symbol of Phatthalung Province with high Mountain and can see the mountain from anywhere in Phatthalung city center. The mountain is about 250 meters high. Visitors can see panoramic view of Phattalung city by look through from the hold near the top of the mountain.

From Phatthalung city center take highway no 4047 ( Aphai Borirak Road ) toward to Khao Ok Thalu.
