Nakhon Si Thammarat (นครศรีธรรมราช)

Nakhon Si Thammarat is the second largest city of south Thailand region and play an i mportant role in the history of Thai Buddhism in Thailand which you can see the numerous temples in this province . The province locate on the eastern shore about 225 km of the gulf of Thailand and 785 km from Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. Surat Thani and the Gulf of Thailand on the north border, South border are Songkhla ,Trang and Phatthalung. The East of Nakhon Si Thammarat  is the Gulf of Thailand and Surat Thani and Krabi on the west border. Geographic of the province consist of high plateau and mountains in the west then sloping down towards the east and becoming a basin along the coastline of the Gulf of Thailand as the result nowadays, the national park in Nakhon Si Thammarat become one of the most famous of rafting, hiking and climbing activities for the visitors.
