South Thailand include of Chumphon, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Pattani ,Phang Nga, Phatthalung, Phuket, Ranong, Satun , Songkhla , Surat Thani, Trang and Yala . The Gulf of Thailand lies to the east with the Indian Ocean is the region’s border to the west. The lagest province is Surat Thani and the smallest is Phuket, Tourist may know Phuket beach is the most popular for visiting , but you can still experience a great tropical beach and island environment in plenty of other places in the South Thailand for example Koh phagan, koh tao, Phiphi.
The transportation to the southern province can be done by Thai airways or cheap Thai airlines Nok air, Airasia, Orient Thai, Bangkok Airways. Local public train service ( Thai railway ) and public bus at southern bus terminal Bangkok ( Thailand Transport) or using Thai car hire for self drive.
Weather
Generally the weather is quite hot and raining all years. It may be said that the south has only two seasons: summer and rainy season.
