Phang Nga (พังงา)

Phang Nga is located 788 km from Bangkok, on the Andaman coast of Thailand. Phang Nga is one of magnificent attraction for both character land or sea which impressive world’s famous national park name Ao Phang-nga. The geological for Ao Phang-nga national park covers 400 sq km and contains over 40 islands amidst dramatic scenery of sheer limestone cliffs (some as high as 300 metres) tower out of the year round calm green water.

Travel to Phang Nga

By Car

Phang Nga is about 788 km from Bangkok and approximately 12 hour drive. You may take Highway No. 4 via Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and finally directly to Phang Nga province. The information about Thai car hire.

By train
There is no train service from  Bangkok (Hua lamphong station) to Phang Nga. If you wish to travel by train, the nearest stations are in Trang (to the southeast) or Surat Thani (to the north) - from here, you will have to catch a bus to Phang Nga . However, I recommend the best way is Bangkok - Surat Thani ( Punpin station ) and transfer to private bus service company (opposite exit gate ) to Phang Nga  about 2 hr for instance Phantip private bus company operate route from Surat Thani train Station route 727 - Khao Sok National Park - Phang Nga – Phuket.
