Yala ( Place to Visit )


Wat Khuhaphimuk (Wat Na Tham)It is one of the three important temple in South of Wat Khuhaphimuk2Thailand as Wat Phra Mahathat ( Nakhon Si Thammarat )  and Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya (Surat Thani ). The temple show the bright history of Buddhism in southern province since the Srivijaya Empire The temple is located in Tambon Na Tham, 8 kilometers from Yala downtown along the route to Iaha district. The name Wat Na Tham means 'A temple in front of a cave’ since this temple has the cave contains an ancient reclining Buddha almost 30m long and the site is believed to have been established in the year 757.

How to get there: temple is 8km from Yala downtown. Visitor can use Hat Yala- Hat Yai ( Songkhla ) bus service and ask the driver to drop off at the Temple. It is a 700m walk from the junction to the temple.
Betong district  is located on the most south of Thailand on Highway 410 and about 140 km  from Yala downtown. It is the gateway  boarder to Malaysia and Singapore. The town is surrounde by high mountains and fantastic atmosphere. The flowers can be grown beautiful all year as the result Betong district has been call 'A Town in the Mist with Beautiful Flowers'.

Betong Hot Spring is a natural hot spring in Jaroh Patai village, Tanoh Maeroh town about 4 km from Betong district. It is believed that the hot water from hot spring can cure sickness deceases and can hard boil egg in 7 minutes.

Inthasorn Waterfall is located from Betong district 15 km and approximately 2 km from Betong Hot Spring. The waterfall is from the mountain and surrounding with natural forest. It has a small pond and suitable for swimming.
