Hot Springs and Raksawarin Arboretum 1

Hot Springs and Raksawarin Arboretum is a top tourist   destination in Ranong province. The hot spring consist of 3 pools which the temperature of the water about 65 degrees Celsius and suitable for drinking and bathing. Surrounding the hot springs is a deep shaded forest called 'Raksawarin', where resting pavilions and wash rooms have been provided for the visitor's comfort.

Located about 2 kilometers east of the provincial office

Laem Son National Park is located on ​​the Andaman coast, 45 km from south of Ranong, including over 60 km of coastline in both Ranong and Phang Nga Provinces, 2 archipelagoes and 8 islands. Bang Ben beach is the head quarter of the park which has long and wide stretch beach, backed by shady casuarinas and unspoiled of natural. The tourist attractions such as Laem Son beach is away from Bang Ben beach about 4 km to the North. It is a good peaceful spot and good for bird watching. Visitors can manage the boat trip out to many islands around such as Ko Khang Khao and Ko Kam Yai.

How to go to Laem Son National Park
Take highway no. 4 from Ranong province direct to Kapur district distance of 46 km. At km. no 657 ( Muang Kluang Sub-district) turn right into the Nation Park. (Bang Ben beach ), a distance of about 10 km

Remark
November - April is the best time to visit Laem Son National Park.

Ko Kod Kra (kew Kra)  is located in Thap Lamu sub district Km no. 545 of highway, 66 kilometers from Ranong downtown, this area is the narrowest point of Malay Peninsula by the distance between East to West Only 44 km. This is a popular attraction for visitors to take a photo of panoramic view of the Kraburi river which borders Thailand – Burma.

Ko Kod Kra  is located at km no 545 of High way no.4. Total distance 66 km from Ranon downtown.

Phu Khao Ya (Grass Hill) The hill is completely tress less and   no big tree grows around. In raining season, the hill is covered with lush green grass and in summer will change the color to yellow. It is a popular attraction to visit for local and visitors.
